“A comfortable haven in Tijuana”
My partner & I stayed at Dali Suites for most of Nov 2011 while I had alternative cancer treatments at a clinic in Tijuana. Having not been to Tijuana for 30 years we were quite unsure of what to expect. Being in Playa de Tijuana was a great choice for us. It felt safe and quiet and had the convenience of grocery stores, restaurants and the beach near by. The hotel itself is small, clean, and nicely taken care of, and the staff are very friendly, kind, & helpful. Alejandra speaks perfect English and was gracious in accomodating our special needs. The room was quite spacious and comfortable with a small kitchenette & a nice view. It was cleaned twice a week which was just right for us. The garden area was beautiful to look down on or relax in. Alejandra recommended a taxi driver to pick us up at a specific time each day to go into Tijuana, which was only a 15-20 minute ride…and cost $18 round trip. Sometimes we would flag a taxi to return as we never knew how long we would be. (tip..keep a Dali Suites post card with a map to show the driver) For anyone trying to decide whether to stay in California or Tijuana for medical treatments…we feel this was much more relaxing than having to cross the border every day when you may not feel like being in a line for an undetermined time. We used the extra time to walk on the beach, and on days off we would cross the border and take the trolley in to San Diego for an outing. We will most definitely return to Dali Suites on return visits to the clinic as it feels like a home away from home.

“The perfect place to stay in Playas de Tijuana”
I was coming to Tijuana to have some major dental work done and was told that the the Dali Suites would be a good choice for my 10 day stay. How right they were. Before I even arrived, Alejandra, the owner, offered to have have two 5 gallon jugs of purified water and a blender waiting for me in my room. Alejandra was a very gracious host, making sure that any need that I had was met while I was there. The room was wonderful with a kitchenette that allowed me to prepare my meals, as I could not really chew for quite a while. The room was very quiet with a great view, and very spacious. Great cable TV. The bed was very firm and comfortable. The Dali Suites were also very centrally located so that I could walk to almost any store that I needed to. The grounds are very secure with a locking front gate. The employees were fantastic, helping me on a day to day basis with any extra needs that I had. The Dali Suites are a great choice if you are staying in the Playas de Tijuana. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Tijuana.

“Charming retreat right in town!”
Great value! Quiet. Beach, Starbucks and natural food store nearby. An area without tourists just plain good local folks. We stayed in Room 16 with a bath tub and a beautiful apricot tree just outside the door but no kitchen. The room across from us has kitchen and bath. Friendly staff who leaves you alone. Fast wifi! $12 taxi from the US boarder to here. Just outside of Tijuana!

“Really Clean And Felt Like Home”
I was looking for a place to stay while a visited a friend at the Hospital, this place is such a beautiful place to be, has a wonderful garden, nice staff, really clean rooms, and free wifi. Another great thing is that is great located, 2 minutes walk to starbucks, cinemastar (has movies in english), supermarket and nice restaurants. It was such a nice place to discover. If you ever come to Playas de Tijuana and need a place to stay, I fully recommend such wonderful place.

“An oasis in Tijuana”
We loved the Dali Suites and plan will call them first when we return to Tijuana. The gated courtyard provided a sense of security and the beautifully landscaped courtyard was truly an oasis, a home away from home. The room was basic but had everything we needed. Shopping is a short walk away. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We can’t say enough good things.
